Piano Playing

Learning to play the piano is easy, provided that you have the ear. What I mean is that you must learn to listen to every note and try to appreciate it-the sounds, how they are played just by ear.

You can use this technique trough all the instruments with the exception of some percussive instruments such as drums, cymbals, etc.

Your ear is your greatest asset in making and listening to a melody. Even professional players of any instrument made them that far advanced because they learned to keep in mind that whenever a person plays a musical instrument in any genre, he/ she feels the music, that is to say: he/ she focused thoroughly and engulfed the presence of the music he/she is hearing.

At first, learn to appreciate classical music. You might ask why? Well, all music nowadays were of course been influenced by classical music. We must appreciate the historical background and evolution of our popular music today because  without classical masters in music like Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven, etc.,we might don't have Sting, Elton John, Josh Groban, David Foster, Madonna, David Benoit, Brian Culbertson, George Duke and many others.

These people were perhaps influenced by the classical masters because some of their works were somewhat related in tunes like that of David Benoit's jazz. Some of it are like Bach's.

Well, for now, the only thing I want to suggest if you are a beginner, learn to sing with the notes and use your ear at its peak.
